Dr. Aaron Brafman is a Board Certified Urologist who received his M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his Surgical Internship and Urologic Residency at the University of Florida Shands Hospital. He practices all facets of Urology with a special interest in stone disease, oncology, men's health and BPH.

Prostate cancer is of particular interest, including utilizing cutting edge diagnostics and therapies. Dr. Brafman has been implementing focal therapy as part of his treatment in those patients who would benefit. This has been of utmost importance in the preservation of both urinary and sexual function for patients who would otherwise experience negative quality of life impacts when receiving whole gland therapy, such as radical prostatectomy and radiation therapy.

Dr. Brafman is a native Floridian and an active member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and American Urological Association (AUA). He has publications in the Journal of Urology, Journal of Endourology and is a co-author of several urologic textbooks.
